Indulge in rich, creamy Milky Way Fudge made with melted semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and buttery goodness, enhanced by chunks of Milky Way bars folded throughout. This no-bake fudge is easy to prepare and perfect for satisfying any chocolate caramel craving, with an optional drizzle of caramel sauce for added decadence.

Ingredients

Fudge Ingredients

  • 3 cups (18 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 regular Milky Way bars, chopped into small pieces

Optional Topping

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking dish: Line an 8Ă—8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, ensuring there is an overhang on the sides for easy removal of the fudge later.
  2. Melt the base mixture: In a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, unsalted butter, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly for about 5-8 minutes until the butter is fully melted and the chocolate chips dissolve into a smooth, glossy mixture.
  3. Add flavorings and fold in Milky Way pieces: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated. Then gently fold in the chopped Milky Way bars, distributing them evenly without overmixing to maintain texture.
  4. Pour and spread the fudge: Transfer the warm fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to gently spread it evenly to all edges of the pan for a uniform thickness.
  5. Cool and set: Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes to gradually set. After that, cover the dish loosely and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours until the fudge is completely firm.
  6. Slice and optionally drizzle caramel: Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the set fudge out of the dish and transfer to a cutting board. Cut into bite-sized squares using a sharp knife. If desired, warm the caramel sauce slightly and drizzle it decoratively over the fudge. Let the caramel set before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to stir constantly during melting to prevent the chocolate from scorching.
  • Use parchment paper with enough overhang to easily lift and remove the fudge from the pan.
  • For best results, allow the fudge to set fully in the fridge before cutting.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • You can substitute regular Milky Way bars with similar chocolate caramel candy bars if desired.
