Celebrate Valentine’s Day with these adorable and delicious Oreo Pops. Individually crafted Oreo cookies are dipped in luscious white and dark chocolate, decorated with festive sprinkles and candy melts, making them perfect for gifting or party treats.

Ingredients

Oreo Pops

  • 12 Oreo cookies
  • 12 lollipop sticks

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips or candy melts
  • Red or pink candy melts (for drizzling)

Decoration

  • Valentine’s Day sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Separate Oreos: Carefully twist Oreo cookies apart, making sure the cream stays on one side of the cookie for easy insertion of the stick.
  2. Insert Lollipop Sticks: Push a lollipop stick gently into the cream side of each Oreo. Use a small amount of melted chocolate to secure the stick if it feels loose.
  3. Reassemble Oreos: Place the other half of the Oreo cookie back on top of the cream and gently press to ensure the pop stays intact.
  4. Freeze Pops: Place the assembled Oreo pops in the freezer for 5 minutes to firm up before dipping.
  5. Melt Chocolates: Melt the white chocolate chips and the milk or dark chocolate chips separately, using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip Oreo Pops: Fully dip each frozen Oreo pop into one of the melted chocolates, ensuring complete coverage. Gently tap off any excess chocolate.
  7. Decorate: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with Valentine’s Day sprinkles or drizzle with red or pink candy melts for a festive touch.
  8. Set Pops: Allow the Oreo pops to set completely by placing them upright in a styrofoam block or on parchment paper. Let stand until the chocolate hardens before serving.

Notes

  • Freezing the pops before dipping helps prevent the chocolate from melting off too quickly.
  • Use high-quality candy melts or chocolates for a smoother finish and better taste.
  • For easier drizzle, thin candy melts slightly with a bit of vegetable oil if needed.
  • Store the Oreo pops in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge to keep them fresh.
