A refreshing Mango Mojito Cocktail that combines ripe mango, fresh mint, and tangy lime with white rum and club soda for a tropical twist on the classic mojito. Perfect for cooling down on a warm day or serving at your next gathering.

Ingredients

Fruits and Herbs

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Mint sprigs and lime wedges for garnish

Liquids and Sweeteners

  • 1 tablespoon sugar or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 30 ml white rum
  • Club soda, to top

Others

  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Muddle Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the diced mango, fresh mint leaves, and sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the mint and mango to release their juices and infuse the flavors.
  2. Add Lime Juice and Rum: Squeeze the lime juice into the shaker, add the white rum and some ice cubes, then shake briskly for about 10 seconds to chill and blend the ingredients.
  3. Add Ice: Fill a serving glass with ice cubes to the top. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into the glass to separate out the pulp and mint leaves.
  4. Top with Soda: Pour club soda over the ice in the glass to fill it. Stir gently to combine the soda with the mango and rum mixture without losing the bubbles.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish the cocktail with a fresh sprig of mint and a wedge of lime on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately while cold and refreshing.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar or simple syrup based on your preference and the natural sweetness of the mango.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and increase the club soda slightly or add a splash of sparkling water.
  • Use fresh, ripe mangoes for the best flavor and natural sweetness.
  • Chill the club soda beforehand for a colder, more refreshing drink.
